Anhui Medical University is a key provincial university. The university was established in 1926 with the support of the Ministry of Education, National Health & Family Planning Commission and the Anhui Provincial Government. The campus of the university spreads over an area of 1820 mu in total. Anhui Medical University is devoted to a teaching-research-type medical university with making a contribution to human health. The university offers on-campus accommodation for undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral candidates. For undergraduates and postgraduates, Anhui Medical University provides double rooms, whereas single rooms are available for doctoral programme students. All the rooms have separate toilets, separate bathrooms, broadband internet access and air-conditioner. The other facilities included in the rooms are fridge, balcony, public kitchen and laundry room.
First-year international students have to reside in the International Students’ Building Dormitory. It is an 18-floored modern apartment building. The rooms are equipped with all the modern facilities like refrigerator, cable television, TV set, air conditioner, broadband internet and many more. The room type includes double rooms with attached bathroom, washing room and cabinets. Anhui Medical University accommodation also provides public kitchens and laundry rooms. The accommodation fee of a double room per person per year is Yuan 4,000(RMB). After one year, students can choose to stay either on-campus or off-campus.
