SOLUTION

The given image gives two different processes to manufacture black tea. The first is the traditional method and the second is the modern method. The former is beneficial in making loose tea while the latter can be useful in producing tea bags.

When selecting the tea leaves for manufacturing the black tea, the worker picks only the two top leaves and the bud to ensure a high-quality tea. The second process is called withering. During this process, air is passed through the leaves on the rack. This helps to remove up to 60% of the moisture.

The leaves are then left for the third process called rolling or cutting. It can be done manually following the traditional methods and can also be done through modern methods to facilitate faster processes of cutting, tearing and curling to make teabags. The end product of both processes would be the release of natural enzymes produced from the leaves.

The last and final step in the manufacture of black tea is oxidation. Here, the enzymes released from the leaves mix with the air. It is during oxidation that the colour changes into black and tea gets its smell and flavour. The leaves are then fired and dried. Almost all the moisture is removed from the leaves after this process leaving only around 3% left on the leaves.

SOLUTION

There is no denying that schoolgirls tend to be more interested in subjects relating to the arts than schoolboys are in the scientific fields of study. This inclination makes sense for many reasons, in my opinion, and it has to be changed.

The reason why boys and girls choose different subjects is primarily due to two factors. It develops mostly from each gender's natural strengths. It is an indisputable fact that certain male students are more skilled at using reason and logic when studying science; as a result, they tend to show an aptitude for the mathematical and physical domains, whilst the other sex may be more sensitive and emotional, which gives them an edge when it comes to understanding the arts or languages. Also, the conventional wisdom plays a role in determining that difference. Many parents encourage their sons to major in science and their daughters in the arts so they to grow up to be honed individuals.

I think that the previously described trend needs to be rectified. It is important to support children, both male and female, in achieving the correct balance between academic fields like science and the arts. Numerous scientific studies demonstrate how learning the arts can increase children's capacity for creativity and imagination, which helps them understand scientific subjects more effectively. In the meantime, majors in math or physics provide opportunities for female students to strengthen themselves and improve their problem-solving skills.

In conclusion, there are several previously discussed reasons why boys typically choose science courses for school while girls favour the arts. However, I argue that this scenario needs to be remedied.
