PTE Exam Fees in India in 2025: Registration, Rescheduling and Cancellation

PTE Exam fees in India is Rs 18,000 inclusive of 18% tax. There are 62 test centers across India, including Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, and the PTE fees 2025 is same for all test locations. To pay the PTE fees on the official website, students can select their preferred PTE exam dates and pay the fee while registering for the exam at the Pearson website. The PTE 2025 exam fee can vary depending on the PTE test type and the country of the test taker. On the other hand, the PTE Home edition fees is around INR 15,284. However, Indian candidates must note that PTE Academic Online (also known as PTE at Home) has been discontinued from 2025 session onwards. Candidates willing to migrate to English-speaking countries for study and immigration purposes can register for the PTE exam. PTE Exam Fees 2025 in India: Important Update
The latest PTE exam fee is increased from the previous years. The current PTE 2025 fees for Indian students is INR 18,000 (inclusive of all taxes). The previous PTE fees 2024 in India was INR 17,000. Effective from March 2025, Pearson has announced a new PTE exam fee for Indian students, which has been increased by INR 1,000 (Rs 17,000+1,000=18,000).
PTE Exam Fee 2025
The PTE fees for the Academic, Core and UKVI versions is the same which is INR 18,000. One must note that PTE exam fees in India is the same for all cities. This implies that PTE exam fees in Punjab, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Sri Lanka, Chennai, Bangalore, and other major Indian cities are the same. The details of PTE exam fees for various PTE tests are mentioned below.

Note: Candidates should also note that the PTE Academic Online (at home) exam has currently been discontinued, so there is no option to take the PTE exam from home.
City-Wise PTE Exam Fees 2025
62 test centres in India offer candidates to take the PTE exam. While registering for the exam, candidates can choose their desired test date and centre for the exam. Based on the availability of the test centre, candidates can select their desired centre. The PTE exam fees for the popular cities in India are as follows.

PTE Fees in India for Rescheduling
Candidates can reschedule or cancel their PTE exam at least 14 days before the PTE exam date. Their rescheduling can be done only up to 6 times for the booked PTE test date.
Before 14 days from the PTE test date rescheduling is free.
Before 8-13 days from the PTE test date rescheduling incurs a 50% fee.
- Before 0-7 days from the PTE exam rescheduling incurs a 100% fee.

Candidates can cancel their PTE test date 14 days before the test date and avail a full refund on their exam fee. The refund for the PTE test fee will be credited back to the applicant's account used during the transaction. If the candidate uses the PTE voucher to pay the exam fee for PTE, then a refund is given in the form of a new voucher, issued without any deduction of the late cancellation fee.

Cancellation on or before 14 days gets a 100% refund of PTE exam fees.
Cancellation 8-13 days before the test date gets 50% of the PTE exam fees refunded.
Cancellation 0-7 days before the test date, gets no refund of the PTE exam fees.

How to Cancel or Reschedule PTE Exam?
Students might be thinking about how they can apply to cancel or reschedule the PTE exam at Pearson. They are required to follow several steps to successfully cancel or reschedule a PTE exam 2025. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Log in to myPTE account at the official website of Pearson. Then you will be redirected to the booking section on the account dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the Reschedule or Cancel tab.
Step 3: Then, students must follow the instructions mentioned on the page.
Step 4: Add relevant information.
Step 5: Review the new exam date and other information.
Step 6: Click on confirm.
Step 7: Pay any PTE exam fees 2025 for this service if levied.
Step 8: You will get the confirmation email on the registered email.
PTE Exam Fee for Sending Score Report 2025
How much does it cost to give PTE? The PTE exam fee is INR 18,000. Under this fee, PTE test takers are free to send the PTE scores to unlimited universities. Candidates need not pay any extra amount for score reports other than the PTE exam fee 2025. Candidates can send their digital PTE score report directly from their PTE account and select the PTE Participating Institutions and programme in the “PTE score” section.
How to Send PTE Score Report?
Candidates planning to send their PTE scores 2025 to colleges are required to visit Pearson's official website. Universities abroad will only accept the scores that are submitted through the official body, and no paper or PDF based PTE scores are accepted for admission purposes. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to send the PTE score cards to universities and colleges abroad.
Step 1: Log in to myPTE account using personal credentials on the official PTE website
Step 2: Click on My Activity
Step 3: Click on Send Scores
Step 4: Add the name of the selected educational institution where you are planning to send the scores.
Step 5: Review and click on Next for confirmation
PTE Exam Fee Payment Methods
PTE exam fees 2025 is INR 18,000 and it must be paid at the time of PTE exam registration. The mode of payment for PTE test fees is through internet banking. The applicant can use a credit card or a debit card, but PayPal is not accepted. The acceptable modes of payment for the PTE exam fees 2025 are:
