Medical College Admission Test
Hi,
Well Canada follows the same system as US. There is no MBBS degree there. You do your undergraduate and then take admission in PG course that is MD for four years and then get into residency program to further complete the entire education. This is how the process works.
I hope this helps.
All the best.

All the best
Well there is no MBBS in Canada. You will have to go for MD and then for that you need to first spend an entire year in Canada doing Pre medicine tracka nd then give MCAT and finally go for medical school. This is the general route that you need to take to complete medical studies.
There really aren't any eligibility requirements for the MCAT. You just apply for either the allopathic, osteopathic, podiatric or veterinary field and do the test! You will need to state the reason for doing the MCAT. There are only eligibility requirements for the different courses (allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine) that require the MCAT for purposes of admission. However usually you have an undergraduate college degree under your belt first so you can fulfil the graduate school requirements.
Hi Aakash,
The MCAT eligibility for international students clearly states that "If you are in or hold an MBBS degree program, you can register for the exam without seeking special permission."
I am not very clear when you say you are taking a degree from "private health professional school". Please specifically mention your course.
Please visit MCAT Eligibility for more information.
Best wishes,
