About IELTS 2023
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS), a well-known test of English language proficiency, is administered by IDP Education in India. The IELTS exam is provided to applicants who want to study or work abroad but whose first language is not English. In order to satisfy the English language proficiency requirements for a number of undergraduate and graduate programmes as well as the requirements for visa applications, the IELTS result will be used. The Academic test, which is better suited for candidates wishing to enroll in a foreign college or university, and the General test, which is suited for candidates looking to work abroad, are the two different IELTS exams. The IELTS exam result is valid for up to two years after the exam date and is widely recognized internationally.
What is the IELTS exam?
In order to help students who desire to study, work, or immigrate to countries where English is the official language, such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) was developed. Students' proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is assessed via the IELTS exam. IELTS exam results, which are graded on a scale of 1 to 9, are used for admissions.

Questions related to IELTS
While booking ielts date i didnt select 5 universities to send score to. So can I send score to 5 universities for free after I receive my ielts result?
Hi, you can send it for free within 1 month of taking the test. A candidate may request up to five (5) additional TRFs to be sent to Receiving Institutions (universities, professional bodies, etc) within one (1) month of taking the IELTS test. TRFs sent by courier will be sent through DHL and students will be charged accordingly. If the Receiving Institution accepts electronic submission of scores then that can be arranged through the IDP IELTS office at no charge. More than five TRFs are subject to an extra fee plus courier costs. These are sent directly to the Receiving Organisations of your choice. Hope this helps.
can i do btech after polytechnic ( diploma) in out of country direct 2nd year
Hello,
Those students who are interested in pursuing a B. Tech programme after polytechnic can do so by either of the two options. Students can get into a B. Tech programme through lateral entrance examination or the engineering entrance examination.
If the student takes admission through lateral entry, then he or she will directly gain entry in the second year of the B. Tech programme. One needs to remember that the lateral entry examination is a state-level examination.
