priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Mar, 2019

Dear Rupam, Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is an entrance exam to get into a medical college abroad. You are eligible for taking this exam if you attend a health professional school which includes Allopathic, Osteopathic, Podiatric and Veterinary Medicine. Students from US and Canada must have an Undergraduate degree to appear for MCAT. Other International students should be eiher pursuing or should have completed MBBS for appearing for MCAT. So with your B.Sc, you are not eligible for MCAT.

I have passed 10+2 with physics chemistry biology in cbse am i eligible for mcat

Shanu Anand 22nd Mar, 2019
Hello Zobya,
Although there is no specific Cheap MCAT Course eligibility criteria, aspirants who are planning to apply to health professional institutes can take the MCAT. While international students have to also fulfil the same MCAT eligibility criteria, the requirements for international students vary from those required of domestic students.

What are the MCAT eligibility criteria for international students?

1) Like domestic students, international students also have to register for MCAT only for the health professional institutes above mentioned. The aspirants will be required to provide a statement verifying their intention to apply to a health professions school

2) The candidate has to obtain special permission to register for the exam if he or she is not applying to a health professions school, or currently, enrolled as a medical student other than MBBS.

3) AMCAS, the conducting authority of MCAT 2017, does not accept international academic transcripts. Students have to submit their academic scores separately to the medical institute they are applying to.

4) International students have to complete at least a four years undergraduate degree for admission to medical colleges in the USA.

Debosmitha Bhattacharyya Student Expert 29th Nov, 2018

Hello Applicant,

As per the MCAT eligibility criteria 2018, if an aspirant holds an MBBS degree or currently pursuing an MBBS programme he/she will be eligible to undergo the registration process of MCAT 2018 without seeking any special permission from the AAMC.

So, I don't think you satisfy the eligibility criteria.

I have completed my dental course in India am I eligible to give mcat?

Debosmitha Bhattacharyya Student Expert 29th Nov, 2018

Hello,

When an aspirant is planning to apply to a health professions school or if he/she is currently enrolled medical student (other than an MBBS degree programme), must obtain "special permission" from AAMC to register for the MCAT exam.

In order to request special permission, prospective test takers should send an email to mcat@aamc.org, stating the reason(s) to appear for the exam. As per the MCAT 2018 eligibility criteria.
