Hi, what was the scope for nano science and technology in PG? And what about the job and placements regarding the course in ACT campus?

Aashiketa 9th Oct, 2021

Hi, the scope for Nano science and technology is extremely good. As it is a newly evolving branch there is a lot of scope to research and come up with new ways of using this technology for the betterment and ease of living. The downside of this is it is very difficult to find placement reports of ACT campus and hence it is safe to say that the placements might be mediocre. If you dig in deep you might find it. Hope this helps. All the best!

how does land filling act as an important method of waste disposal?Explain

lakshanaramasamy 18th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirants

Landfill is one of the most important method of garbage disposal. Its a very carefully designed structure built into or on top of the ground in which trash is isolated from the surrounding environment (groundwater, air, rain). This isolation is accomplished with a bottom liner and daily covering of soil.

A sanitary landfill uses a clay liner to isolate the trash from the environment. A municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill uses a synthetic (plastic) liner to isolate the trash from the environment

The purpose of a landfill is to bury the trash in such a way that it will be isolated from groundwater, will be kept dry and will not be in contact with air. Under these conditions, trash will not decompose much. A landfill is not like a compost pile, where the purpose is to bury trash in such a way that it will decompose quickly.

Hope this Helps

Good Luck!

Your hostel is full of snakes and you are unmoved. Why are you putting the lives of students to risk? Why dont you act?

Anushri Varshney 28th Jul, 2021

Hello hello,

Please mention the college name for convenience.

See, it is very common to find snakes in the hostel bathrooms and rooms. I have experienced this issue. But this is not the fault of the college and hostel members too. It is completely natural because there are chances of getting nutrition in the hostel due to which snakes got attracted and started living there. What you can do is to keep yourself active and alert. In case, any mishappening is about to happen you can save yourself.

Thank you!!

is sat and act are both compulsary to study medicine cant we take one of them.

saketm.ip.18 25th Jun, 2021

The SAT is solely used for undergraduate entrance. There is no minimum or maximum score. You don't get SAT scores either. It's only a percentile ranking. A strong score on the SAT and SAT subject tests does not guarantee admission to any university. Admission necessitates a number of factors. In addition, every college in the United States requires a General SAT or ACT test score, as well as maybe a TOEFL score. This section is required; however, the topic tests are not. The topic tests are determined by the criteria of each university.

Hope this helps

Option C

Explanation:

1) It can act as a reducing agent: Correct

2) It is basic acid: Correct

3) It has a pyramidal shape: Wrong

4). The oxidation state of phosphorus is + 3: Correct

It has a tetrahedral shape, not pyramidal, due to the absence of lone pair.
