Hi,im being neglected and bullied by my close friends on caste basis..jbki mai un sb se hmesha achha krta hu in studies.they were my close

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Sep, 2019
First things first, do not feel sorry for them. Its your hard work that has brought you to be where you are today. May be your friends need to read news about what happens when you bully someone based on their caste. Advise them to read about a one Dr. Payal Tadvi case and the future of the accused doctors. And laws are pretty strict about this. You are too young to be facing this discrimination but do not stay quiet. Your goodness cannot be a sign of your helplessness. There are helplines for this cause and discuss this with your family before it gets into your head.

What are the factors that act behind getting flexible jobs during placements after completing btech?

satyam saran 20th Jul, 2019

Factors are many but mainly it depends upon how you build up your CV/Resume in those 4 years. Also, your communication skills including English speaking should be of a decent level. You should try to hold atleast one POR( Position of Responsibility) in your college. You should try to be in top 10 of your branch.

How is the hostel facility in ACT campus in anna university

ritika_1559920086 Student Expert 11th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant,

The ACT campus hostel can accommodate up to 4 people in a room. Students from ACT and SAP campus reside in the hostel. However, it can become a little difficult for Architecture students to make place for their work and equipment.

The food served in the mess is of good quality and few students have even claimed the standard of the food to be on par with the food served at home.

There is round-the-clock electricity supply and the occurrences of power cuts are rare in the hostel.

The water supply is scheduled for around 6 hours a day with fixed timings allotted for the same. In case of sufficient rainfall, the duration of the supply is increased to 24 hours.

Hope it helps!!!

is there any ragging in anna university especially in ACT ?

Ram Tiwari1 Student Expert 11th Jul, 2019

Freshers and Seniors maintain a very good rapport.

Though seniors are not made to mentor freshers as in MIT, they indeed get along very well, like friends.

And to ease up freshers getting along, there is an anti-ragging vehicle going around the campus during your first semester. Nothing has ever been done, in the 4 years I was there, that was taken to the vehicle.

A ball is raising upward with a velocity 20m/s. Does gravity act on it????

Prabhat kumar 6th Jul, 2019

Dear nikhil,

Yes of course gravity will act on it . Gravity act on any body irrespective of any type of shape size of that object. That is why we take g=9.80 m/s2 in questions of motions.
