NEET PG, stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates. The NEET PG counselling date will be released soon. However, recently, there was a petition submitted by the NEET PG candidates to the Supreme Court, asking the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to release the complete set of questions along with the answer key to maintain transparency. In case you did not get the desired NEET PG score to be successful in NEET PG counseling, then you can re-attempt the exam. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for NEET PG. You can take the exam as many times as you require. However, if you are planning to reattempt the NEET PG exam, then ensure that you do not make the same mistakes as your last attempt. Prepare for the exam thoroughly and practice sample papers and mock tests.

USA: The medical postgraduate in USA is called a Residency. International students who wish to pursue residency in USA must clear the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). Applicants must also register with the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) and obtain a USMLE ID.
UK: Indian students who do not clear the NEET PG 2025 can pursue medical PG in UK. For this, they will be required to pass the UK Medical Licensing Assessment (UK MLA) exam. After clearing the exam, applicants must register with the General Medical Council (GMC) in UK to be permitted to practice in UK. Additionally, medical candidates must obtain the FY2 (Foundation Year 2) level of experience to apply for training in specialised fields.
Australia: To be eligible for medical PG in Australia, indian medical graduates must ensure that the MBBS degree is verified by the Australian Medical Council (AMC). If qualified, then students will be required to clear the AMC exam.
Russia: To study medical PG in Russia, indian students must obtain an MBSB degree from WHO recognised university. Indian students are also required to submit their NEET scores and 12th-grade PCB marks. Applicants will also be required to pass the FMGE exam in India and obtain qualifying marks in NEET PG.
