I am looking to migrate to Canada, My IELTs score was 7.5 and CRS- 430. I am 40. I have a wife whose IELTS score is 8. We have a 10 year old daugther studying in class5. 1. We are wondering if applying for an MBA would be a good way to get a PR in Canada. How much score it can help us to get

lubhan cherwoo 9th Mar, 2020
Hi,
As per the information provided by you , your score in Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) skilled immigrants (Express Entry) is 430

Ideally a score of above 470 is needed to easily get a PR in express entry, though you can go for the student visa route in which you need to get a student visa after which you can apply for Permanent Residency which is easier route.

i got 6 band in IELTS idp test, can i get admission in Australia University for MBA or in hotel management course

Shiksha 6th Mar, 2020

Hello!

A 6.0 band in ilets idp test cannot secure you a seat for mba in Australia university as foe it a minimum of 6.5-7 band is needed for any post graduate courses. You have a very thin chances for getting admissions in bachelor's of hotel management course in Australia national university.

I hope this helps.

Hey there!

Depending upon the college you wish to pursue your grad from. Each college has a different set of conditions and eligibility requirements. However, I have enlisted the common ones below:

1. Statement of Purpose

2. At least 2 recommendation letters

3. SAT scores

4. IELTS/TOEFL scores

5. High School and Senior Secondary mark sheets

6. Your detailed CV enlisting your curricular and co-curricular activities

Hope this helps.

hi, i have completed my UG in mechanical engg in 2013 with 65% .now i wish to study MS in germany thereitself.is that possible to do with high band score of IELTS or any other extra qualification they need ?

Shivangi Kumari 29th Feb, 2020
Hello,
The first and the basic requirement for master's degree in Germany is a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised university that you already had. But the second most important thing that comes is minimum 75% marks in your Undergraduate degree or CGPA 7.5/10 . Then only you will be ablt to sit in the entrance examinations. German universities  accepts IELTS exam results with a minimum score of 6.5 out of 9. Therefore you really need to work hard.
There is one more way to get admission by submitting your TOEFL score which should be over 90.

Hope this helps !

Considering Im just a 12th pass (96%), how do I study Abroad? Which country would be economical? What about Germany? Should I write IELTS this week? Should I learn German for studying in Germany? Please clarify about SAT, its Subject tests and Advanced Placements exams? What are the requirements?

Fareeha 2nd Mar, 2020

Hey there!

First things first, shortlist the countries you plan on pursuing your grad from. Then make a list of schools in those countries, which provide you the course of your interest.

Germany is a very good place for higher studies, along with other European Countries like Italy and Venice. The courses are almost free if you get the scholarships.

And no, you need not study German before hand, you just need to know the basics in order to survive in a foreign land. Also, they will provide you with a one year of foundation course during your first year, where they will teach your German.

Before attempting the IELTS, please look up the requirements of the college which you plan on attempting. Some colleges accept IELTS scores, while some accept TOEFL and some accept both. Also, kindly prepare for the exam properly before attempting. Considering the English eligibility exams takes place every week, take a little preparation time before attempting it. Also, you will have to give the SATs too for taking admission in grad programs.

Hope this helps.

Adil Suaib Khan Student Expert 5th Apr, 2020

Hii Makirat,

You have a great IELTS score that might enable you to avail a lot of admissions and scholarships as it is even admissions with scholarships. Please specify as to which field are you looking a course in to pursue from Canada. Canada has a lot of provinces and all the provinces have a different fees and other eligibility requirements. Please specify and I'll be able to help you better. The fees differs when you choose colleges/universities. Universities have a bit higher fees when compared to colleges for similar programs. For certain MS courses you are also required to appear for GMAT/GRE. Tution fees totally depends on the course and the kind of degree/certificate you are pursuing but they range from 10 lakhs per year to 20 lakhs per year or some times more for some courses.

Feb 13 i had written my IELTS exam(paper based), can anyone know the result date?

Hrisheekesh Singh 21st Feb, 2020

Hi Sudalai,

Generally, the IELTS 2020 results are available 13 days after the test date. The IELTS results can be seen online via the candidate's IELTS registration account using the candidate's Identification Document Number i.e. passport number and registration number. However, the result of the computer based exam is made available after 5-7 days of the exam date.

IELTS 2020 scores are calculated on a 1-9 point scale which is a mean of the individual sectional scores.

You may refer to the source article for more detailed information about IELTS Result 2020.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!

Hi,

Well I must tell you that there are no such scholarship available to study medicine in UK specially for international students and the education is way too expensive. The exam you need to qualify depend on what the college demands. IELTS or TOEFL is needed as language proficiency requirement.
