what is the cost of hotel management course in canada ????

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 21st Jan, 2020

Hey,

This depends on which university you wish to go and the city where you want to reside.

The living costs do vary from province to province and within a province city to city.

The estimation of costs will be provided to you in the admission letter you receive from the university.

Alternatively you can obtain admission handbooks from few universities and there will be indication of costs for tuition fees, living expenses and medical insurance etc.

Hope this helps.

How can I get into the MBA courses of top business schools in USA? Should I take GRE or GMAT? TOEFL or IELTS? Which are the best coaching institutes to prepare for these exams?

chandresh iyer 26th Jun, 2024

To get into top MBA programs in the USA, you need to start by preparing a strong application package that includes a high GMAT or GRE score, with GMAT being the more traditional choice for business schools. Ensure you have a solid academic record, significant work experience (typically 2-5 years), and strong letters of recommendation. Craft a compelling personal statement that highlights your leadership skills, career goals, and reasons for pursuing an MBA. Additionally, international students must prove their English proficiency, usually through TOEFL or IELTS scores. TOEFL is more commonly accepted in the USA, but check specific school requirements. Networking with alumni, attending MBA fairs, and seeking advice from current students can also enhance your application.

Im aiming for 75% in BA Prog and want to take MA Political Science in Univ of Amsterdam. I hv 95% in Eng in 12th and yet to take IELTS. What exactly are my chances? And What are the basis on which Univ allots scholarships to International students? Thanks in advance!

Khushi 28th Dec, 2019

Hi Aryaman

Yes, you will have to take IELTS exam as they require english proficiency test as a transcript in their eligibility criteria on their official website. Your chances of getting selected depends upon your application. It has holistic process for admitting students.

So, everything including you academics, extra cirriculars, vounteering and achievements will count in you getting selected to the university.

You need to request for scholarship while filling application or there can be another application for scholarship. Different courses have different scholarships so you need to check for the course you wish to apply for

When the GRE /ielts exams we can write..?.?

sahanahegde44 16th Dec, 2020

Hello  Aspirant,

Hope your doing well!

IELTS Writing Task 2 and the GRE AWA’s Analyse-an-Issue Task are almost exactly the same. Both tasks involve writing your opinion on a social issue — something like global warming, funding for education,

Paper-based GRE tests are available only twice a year: once in November, and once in February. The 2019-2020 tests were held on November 9th, 2019, and February 1st, 2020.

Compared to the ACT and the SAT, the GRE is typically considered more difficult because, even though the math tested on the GRE is a lower level than the math tested on the SAT and ACT, the GRE has more challenging vocabulary and reading passages, and the math problems have trickier wording or require higher-level

Thankyou, Good luck for everything ahead :)

My test date was 14th December 2019, it still shows me "No Results Found". Anyone else who is having the same issue, or is it just me? If anyone got their score, kindly confirm that you got a score.

Mibin Mathew Mammen 17th May, 2020

Dear Indrid,

Thank you for your query. I also had written IELTS last year in September and but in my case the results were published in the British council website after 2 weeks. I think the best solution for you is to check the British council website of IDP website for your result or contact the IELTS through email or via phone.

Can I attempt ielts or toefl Im in inter 2nd year

Artur 30th Dec, 2019

Yes, you can attempt IELTS test anytime you want!

For most cases, the IELTS test is valid for two years. So, if you want to study or work abroad, I'd recommend that you decide the time when to take the IELTS test accordingly.

Please be aware that the IELTS test is not easy to clear, and you will need time to prepare for it. I'd highly recommend that you use IELTS Profi (https://ieltsprofi.com/) for preparation.

I wish you the best of luck!

hy this is Sam from India, i have compeleted my graduation in 2015 and now i,m doing a job in a company for 4 years. i have over all 6 bands in IELTS (Listening 6, speaking 6, writing 6, reading 5.5) am i elegible for UK study visa? please let me know

Kanupriya Gupta 28th Jan, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

A 6 band indicates competent English. It implies that you are good at English but you perform good in the situations you know well, while in other situations which are unfamiliar or specialised, you face difficulty. So, that means you are eligible but it depends upon the job you are applying for or the university you are applying for. But your scores are pretty good for the same.

Hope this helps. All the best!
