what is the eligibility for gre, tofel, ielts?

sahanahegde44 16th Dec, 2020

Hello  Aspirant,

Hope your doing well!

you have not specified the course for admission but this is the basic procedure

IELTS Writing Task 2 and the GRE AWA’s Analyse-an-Issue Task are almost exactly the same. Both tasks involve writing your opinion on a social issue — something like global warming, funding for education,

It is always followed to take up IELTS for europe countries, many students prefer doing this to study overseas.

Paper-based GRE tests are available only twice a year: once in November, and once in February. The 2019-2020 tests were held on November 9th, 2019, and February 1st, 2020

Compared to the ACT and the SAT, the GRE is typically considered more difficult because, even though the math tested on the GRE is a lower level than the math tested on the SAT and ACT, the GRE has more challenging vocabulary and reading passages, and the math problems have trickier wording or require higher-level

Basically both of them will involve same procedures, same preperation, incase your travelling to any europe countries, ielts is most preffered.

Its better to start off the preparation right away as it's the best time to take up and finish everything!

there is no eligibility criteria per tests, start preparing in 3rd year and start taking up mock tests and study , ace the exam!

Thankyou, Good luck for everything ahead :)

how much marks we want in GRE to take admission in USA

Ronak Gala Student Expert 6th Nov, 2019

To get some top universities of USA, you need to score almost 320+ / 340 in GRE. Because getting 260 marks in GRE is almost fixed since maximum people even the unprepared ones pass the 260 marks barrier. And there is a huge competition after 320 for a single single mark. So keep your targets high and work well for it.

Best wishes. Thank-you.

Which colleges in USA can i apply for masters in MIS for fall 2020 with a gre score of 311 and an average profile?

Atharva Yeolekar 22nd Nov, 2019

Hello candidate,

Your score of 311 would easily get you into  one of the tier 2 colleges in the united states of america. Before making a decision about an university you have to consider several points like the climate in that region, future and part time job prospects, tuition fee, scholarship opportunities etc. Based on your score following is a list of colleges that you can explore:

1. Pennsylvania State University

2. Boston University

3. New York University

4. Virginia Tech

5.State University of New York -Stoony Brook

All the above colleges accept gre scores in the range 310-320. Along with this i suggest that you should try to boost your profile by completing new courses, learning new skills and/or doing internships to give yourself a better shot at getting into one of these universities. Hope this helped!

Good Luck!!!
