If we consider the major number of students who got the range of 400-500 marks, they have to sit for another year to get an MBBS seat even in a private medical college. By anyhow, if they even get a private medical seat for MBBS, the fees of these medical colleges are not everyone's cup of tea. The MBBS fees in India for private medical colleges range between Rs. 30 Lakhs to 80 Lakhs. However, MBBS abroad fees are comparatively lesser for Indian students.

The NEET UG 2024 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), witnessed participation from over 24 lakh candidates. However, the early release of results, along with numerous allegations, has led to widespread dissatisfaction and calls for NEET re-examination. The major points of NEET 2024 exam controversy, scam, re-exam include:
Allegations emerged just two days before the exam about a NEET cheating scam involving a foreign education consultancy owner and a school teacher. They allegedly helped 16 students cheat by charging them money of around Rs 10 lakh each.
The release of the NEET results saw an unprecedented number of perfect scores, with 67 students achieving 720 marks. The total marks of NEET exam is 720 and getting 720 out of 720 is a major feat. Notably, eight of these students who scored perfect 720 marks in the NEET exam were from the same exam centre in Haryana, raising suspicions of coordinated cheating in the NEET 2024 exam.

Hello Anushka,
Even with 210 marks in NEET, it is very difficult to secure admission in a government medical college for general category students under the All India Quota (AIQ) or state quota, as usually cutoff scores are much higher than this (i.e., above 500+ for general). However, most seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC or other reserved categories, rural quotas or North Eastern States, and depending on the state, you may have a small chance of admission to some states or to private colleges with a government fee structure on the basis of this score.
NEET MBBS Counselling Procedure in Other States:
Register on the Medical Counselling Committee: MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/)
Register on respective state counselling portals for state quota seats.
Participate in choice filling and locking of colleges.
Seat allotment is based on rank, category and seats available.
If allotted, complete document verification and payment of fees.
HEY THERE!!!
With 302 marks in NEET 2025, your chances for BAMS in Andhra Pradesh are:
Government BAMS Colleges: Very low chance.
Private BAMS Colleges (AIQ/State Quota): Fair chance, especially in later counselling rounds.
Management Quota: Higher chance.
Participate in all counselling rounds (AIQ + State). You may get a seat in private BAMS colleges.
With 545 marks in NEET 2025, your chances of getting MBBS at PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital) depend on your category and domicile:
If you are from Bihar + OBC/EWS/SC/ST:
You have a good chance under state quota.
In 2024, OBC/EWS cutoffs for PMCH were around 530–550.
If you are from General (UR) category:
PMCH cutoff is usually 580+ for UR in Bihar state quota.
So your chances are low, but not impossible if the cutoff drops slightly.
With NEET score 350, getting government BAMS seat in Rajasthan home quota is unlikely.
Cutoffs usually require higher scores (around 45,000+ rank).
Consider private BAMS colleges or other AYUSH courses.
