Ronak Gala Student Expert 27th Oct, 2019

There is no specific syllabus as such but the TOEFL tests iBT students on the basis of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

SAT is a globally recognized standardized test that is taken for admission at colleges in the United States. SAT is of two types: SAT I and SAT II

The SAT I tests a student's skills in Mathematics, Critical Reading, and Writing. SAT II tests measure student’s knowledge & skills in particular subject areas. how to prepare sat exam own preparation in home

Rehan Alam Student Expert 26th Oct, 2019

Dear aspirant,

In order to take SAT exam, one must ensure that he/she is well-versed with the SAT exam pattern, SAT preparation tips and other related information pertaining to the same. The SAT and SAT Subject tests are designed to check candidates' preparedness for the colleges and whether they fit to be among rest of the students. The test is accepted by a majority of the colleges and universities spread across the USA and other foreign countries

Grammar: To begin with SAT Preparation tips, the first step is to get grammar accurate. The multiple-choice questions which involve selecting the right answer will mostly test the grammar skills. So, aspirants should practice the basic English grammar and refer to books like Wren and Martins. Besides, there are many websites, which provide aid in improving grammar through several practice tests.

Read: Preparation remains incomplete without reading. Since test takers would be asked to write an essay, the best way to prepare for it would be to remain updated with the recent happenings across the globe. This will help to put the point across at the time of writing the essay.

Write sample essays: Choosing any topic and writing on it will help in improving the thought process.

Brush up vocabulary: The sentence completion task is similar to the basic fill in the blanks.  So, it is vital to be updated with the latest vocabulary tips.
