Long Island University’s acceptance rate is approximately 93%, making its admission criteria extremely flexible. The university welcomes applications through the Common Application for undergraduate students. However, they may also apply through the university’s online application portal. The Spring semester at LIU starts at the end of January and the Fall semester begins at the beginning of September.

Long Island University Scholarship

Long Island University offers scholarships for international students based on their merit or academic achievements (LIU Merit-Based Scholarships). The eligible students are automatically reviewed for these scholarship programmes by the admissions committee at the time of admission. Additionally, international students are eligible for on-campus job opportunities and graduate assistantships. Long Island University Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of Long Island University are course-specific, hence, applicants can check their eligibility under their selected course of study. However, the general eligibility for international applicants is listed below.

  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) in class 12 for undergraduate admissions.
