IELTS TRF will be posted by the IDP within 3 to 5 days after the test date for computer-delivered tests. IELTS Test Report Form (TRF)
The IELTS TRF full form is the IELTS Test Report Form. This TRF states the overall band scores of each of the sections, including IELTS listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Candidates who have appeared for the IELTS exam can also be awarded half-band scores indicating strong performance within a specific band. One copy of the test report form is provided to each candidate and is advised to be kept safe.
The IDP IELTS result TRF is sent to applicants through courier or speed post within 10 days from the IELTS results declaration day. They will be provided with the shipment tracking number on their registered mobile number to track the delivery of the same.

Applicants receive a Test Report Form (TRF) that includes a score for each of the skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking) and an overall IELTS band score. Keep a copy of the Test Report Form, as candidates cannot receive it again. Test takers receive a TRF via Speed Post or courier. In addition, they get the tracking number via SMS once it is out for delivery. It can take up to 10 days to get the scores from the result declaration date.
IELTS Test Report Forms for Institutions
Applicants can mention the top 5 desired universities to send their IELTS scores. Five universities listed by the candidate in their IELTS registration form will receive copies of TRF. There are no extra charges levied for sending the IELTS IDP result to these five colleges or universities. Candidates can pay and request for additional IELTS results downloads (TRFs) to be sent to the university or institutes anytime within two years.
How to send IELTS exam results to universities?
Candidates are permitted to send IELTS score cards electronically to five universities of their choice, without any additional cost. Applicants can choose the universities at the time of registration. The majority of English-speaking countries accept IELTS results for giving visas to students; however, the minimum requirement differs from country to country. Consider the below-mentioned points while sending the IELTS exam results to universities abroad.
When doing IELTS registration, test takers are given the option to choose up to five universities of their choice to send their IELTS exam result.
They will be required to fill in the details of their preferred universities for IDP IELTS India to send their IELTS scores.
Once the IELTS result is out, IDP India will send the applicant’s scores to the chosen universities.
Candidates can also opt to send hard copies of their IELTS results to more than 5 institutes by paying an additional fee as specified by the authorities.
To send their IDP IELTS result TRF via courier to international destinations, candidates also need to pay the courier charges.
IELTS One Skill Retake
Candidates who are not satisfied with their IELTS exam result can apply for IELTS OSR (One Skill Retake) to improve their performance. Through OSR, students can attempt a retake option for one of the four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking. This should be done within 60 days of the original exam day. The fee for IELTS One Skill Retake is INR 11,300. Individuals applying to retake the IELTS exam can use their previous test experience to improve their results for abroad admission.
Candidates willing to retake the IELTS exam must fulfil the following requirements:
Applicants must have completed a full test at a centre that offers IELTS One Skill Retake.
The candidate’s full test was an IELTS on a computer test.
Applicants must apply for their IELTS One Skill Retake within 60 days of their previous IELTS test.
IELTS Results Validity
IELTS is a widely accepted English language proficiency exam. Many top universities accept IELTS for various programs. According to the IDP official website, the IELTS result is valid for 2 years from the date of the announcement. Applicants can send their IELTS scorecards to different colleges and universities for up to 2 years for admission to various study abroad courses. One the most general tips for the preparation of both tests would be to go for a structured approach and understand the format of the tests respectively and work on improving grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation along with it take regular tests and reviews them. Both have 4 section, Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, so all four must be kept in focus, and thus you must plan your time according to your needs and areas of improvement.
Now, for TOEFL, it's recommended to use resources from ETS, that is, official materials and tests.
For IELTS, it's recommended to use resources from IDP, British Council and Cambridge, that give you sample tests and questions.

Hello Student,
For the AMC (Australian Medical Council) exam , which assesses international medical graduates for practice in Australia, the IELTS requirement is generally a minimum overall score of 7.0 , with no individual band score below 7.0 (in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
Alternatively, the AMC also accepts equivalent scores from OET, TOEFL iBT, and PTE Academic :
- OET : A grade of B in all four components.
- TOEFL iBT : A minimum overall score of 94, with minimum scores of 24 in Listening, 24 in Reading, 27 in Writing, and 23 in Speaking.
- PTE Academic : A minimum overall score of 65, with a minimum score of 65 in each communicative skill.
Meeting these requirements is essential to proceed with the AMC’s application and registration processes.
