    About Wellesley College

    Wellesley College, USA was established in 1870 under Henry and Pauline Durant who wanted to spread the importance of higher education for women. The first president of Wellesley College was a woman named Ada Howard and initially, other teachers and educators were also women. The college initially started functioning in a hall with a number of 314 students in 1875 and they graduated in 1879.

    • Wellesley offers academic programmes in over 50 departmental and interdepartmental majors.

    Wellesley College Admission and Application

    • Students can apply to the Wellesley College as First-Year Applicant, Transfer Applicant, International Applicant, QuestBridge Applicant, Undocumented or DACA Applicant or through Davis Degree Program Applicant.
    • For Wellesley College admissions, students need to fill the application forms and submit all required documents and pay the amount of application fee.
    • Students might also submit SAT or ACT scores for getting admissions to bachelor programmes.
    • Qualifying students also might have to go through an interview process conducted by the administration of the college.
