About Yale School of Management
Yale School of Management was established as a part of the Yale University to offer management programmes to students who could make effective use of it in the business, government, and nonprofit sectors. The school started with its first set of students in 1976. The school changed its name to the Yale School of Management in 1994. Later, in 1999 the school started to offer the master of business administration (MBA) degree and then in 2005, the school also established an executive MBA programme in the field of healthcare leadership. The MBA programme was later broadened to include other areas like asset management and sustainability.

- Yale SOM has also introduced other management programmes like the Master of Advanced Management (MAM) programme which is about advanced leadership and management and the Master of Management Studies (MMS) programme which tells about the study of macroprudential financial regulation and the measurement and management of systemic risk.
- The Yale Alumni Association acts as the medium between the alumni and the university.
- There are a number of student clubs and organisations associated with Yale University which offer the opportunity to students to showcase their skills, explore new ideas and meet and interact with new people.

- For getting admissions, aspirants need to download the application forms from the website of the university.
- Submission of application forms must be done along with all requisite documents and by paying the required amount of application fee.
- Students also might have to submit their GRE or GMAT scores.
- The application forms submitted by students will be reviewed by the administration of the university and they will be allowed admissions based on several criteria.

- International students must have English as their native language or else they are required to qualify for the English language proficiency test such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic).
