About Tuck School of Business

Tuck School of Business is the business school of Dartmouth College which was established in 1900 with the aim of offering management programmes to students who aspire to build their careers in the business world. It was founded by Edward Tuck who was an international financier and philanthropist. Tuck School of business was the first business school to offer a master's degree in business administration. It was earlier called the Amos Tuck School of Administration and Finance. The institute also offers an Advanced Management Program for executives with a duration of one or two weeks.

Tuck School of Business Admission and Application

  • For getting admissions, students must register on the website of the institute.
  • Students can download their application forms after signing up through their ID and password.
  • Application forms need to be submitted along with official transcripts and after paying the amount of the application fee.
  • In addition to that, students also have to submit their GRE or GMAT scores.
  • Application forms will be evaluated based on test scores and other eligibility criteria.
  • Students whose application forms will be approved will be called for an interview.
  • After clearing all the rounds, applicants will be given Tuck School of Business admissions after document verification and admission fee payment.

Tuck School of Business Eligibility

  • International students seeking admissions need to have English as their first language or else they are required to submit scores of the English proficiency test such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic) or PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic).
  • Scores submitted for the English language test must be taken within two years of the application date.
  • Students are also required to submit other official documents including letters of reference, academic transcripts and a resume.
  • Students also have to write and submit an essay with a word limit of 300 words where they are required to explain their interests behind pursuing an MBA programme.

Tuck School of Business offers housing facilities to students both off-campus and on-campus. The on-campus housing rooms have all the facilities designed for both mature students and executives. All the rooms are well equipped with all basic furniture including a bed, chair, wardrobe. It also offers off-campus housing options in New Hampshire where students tend to live in Hanover, Lebanon, West Lebanon, or Lyme. The off-campus housing options are also located very close to the college campus so that students can commute easily from their hostels.
