About School of Public Health

The University of Michigan School of Public Health was established in 1941 located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US. It is a constituent college of the University of Michigan and is considered as one of the top schools in the United States offering public health programmes. The School of Public Health offers programmes across six academic departments including Biostatistics, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Behavior and Health Education, Health Management and Policy, and Nutritional Sciences. In addition to these, it also offers a master's degree in Population and Health Sciences which is an online programme explaining about tackling complex health challenges such as chronic and infectious diseases, obesity and food insecurity, health care quality and costs, effects of climate and environmental changes on health.

School of Public Health Eligibility

  • All International students must have English as their native language or else they need to submit proof of English proficiency tests such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic) or Pearson PTE Academic.
  • Scores submitted for IELTS, Pearson, TOEFL will not be valid after 2 years from the test date.
  • Candidates also must submit documents of high school records, recommendation letters, a personal statement, writing samples, resume etc.
  • Applicants need to complete their high school for getting admissions to undergraduate programmes and for admissions to graduate programmes, students must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant subject from an accredited university or institute.
