Kellogg School of Management was established in 1908 as the business school of Northwestern University, Chicago. It was earlier known as the School of Commerce but later, the name got changed to Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1979. It is considered one of the oldest business schools in the world. It was started with the aim of offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programmes in seven academic departments including Accounting Information & Management, Managerial Economics & Decision Sciences, Finance, Management & Organizations, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy. Kellogg has also introduced four strategic cross-disciplinary initiatives to meet the business demands which includes Architectures of Collaboration (KACI), Innovation & Entrepreneurship (KIEI), Markets & Customers (KMCI), and Public-Private Interface (KPPI).
