    University of South Wales offers three-year full-time BA Hons Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS programme. The programme is offered in both university and primary school settings. University of South Wales offers BA Hons Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS programme in partnership with Apple Regional Training Center, RISCA Primary School, Glan USK Primary School, Education Acheivemnet Service for South Wales, GAER Primary School, Eveswell Primary School, Central South Consortium and others. BA Hons Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS course modules include core studies, professional and pedagogical studies, subject studies and professional learning and development. 

    BA Hons Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS degree offers Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a vocational degree embedded in classroom practice, research-informed practice, which involves integrating theory, research and practical experience, opportunity to experience in a British International School and access to excellent facilities. Students are also given the opportunity to engage with a range of school partners, guest lecturers and external speakers. BA Hons Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS programme assessment includes written coursework tasks, projects, simulated learning using ‘cutting-edge’ technology and seminar presentations. The progress is assessed each year for the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

    Students are given the opportunity to practice in international settings like Maastricht, Prague, Qatar and Budapest. University of South Wales on-campus facilities include a science laboratory, a number of computer suites, primary school settings and access to the Hydra Minerva simulation suite.     Admission and Application

    In order to apply for BA Hons Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS programme admission, candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria.
