The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) was established in 1971 by the Korean Government as a national research university in Daejeon, South Korea. KAIST has across 5 colleges, 7 schools, 13 graduate schools, and 27 departments under its administration. KAIST has different colleges and schools associated with it including College of Natural Sciences, College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Life Science and Bioengineering, College of Liberal Arts and Convergence Science, School of Transdisciplinary Studies, School of Digital Humanities and Computational Social Sciences, School of Management Engineering, School of Business and Technology Management, School of Computing, Graduate School of Medical Science and Engineering, Nanoscience & Technology Graduate School, Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI, Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility, Graduate School of Culture Technology, Moon Soul Graduate School of Future Strategy, and Graduate School of Science and Technology Policy.
KAIST has four different libraries across its different campuses well-equipped with a huge collection of books, special collections and archives that are required by students and teachers for completing their goals. The libraries also offer other additional services and tools to support research and studies. Other facilities also include printing, scanning etc. and also students can borrow books for a given period of time by using their ID cards and after completing the registration process of the library.
