Hanken School of Economics is a business school that was established in 1909. Hanken has four different departments under its administration including the Department of Finance and Economics, the Department of Management and Organisation, the Department of Marketing, Department of Accounting and Commercial Law. The Centre for Languages and Business Communication which comes under Hanken offers good language skills to improve the communication skills in Swedish, Finnish, English, French, German, Russian and Spanish.
The library of Hanken School of Economics is well equipped with books and materials having all information and resources related to business, economics, finance and marketing. All the study materials are available in both printed and digital formats. Students can access e-books and borrow books through their library cards. Librarians are also available to guide and help the students in case they need any help regarding finding any informative resources. However, the library also offers other additional services like printing, scanning, photocopying etc. The library remains open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday and remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Hanken offers IT services to the students and faculty of the college and they can access it by logging in through their Hanken user-id and password. Once a student becomes a part of the Hankel School of Economics they will get an email about all the information about their user ID and password through which they can access the internet and avail of other IT services.
