What is SAT Digital?
The SAT exam 2024 has gone through various changes and updates over the years, and one major transformation occurred when the College Board introduced the Digital SAT examination, a digital version of the test to adapt to the changing technological landscape.
This SAT is conducted seven times a year across 30 Indian cities, and hosted in more than 50 partnering institutions. What sets the SAT Digital exam apart is its streamlined nature; it takes 2 hours and 14 minutes to complete. Notably, the SAT Digital exam is one hour shorter compared to its previous version. Adding to the convenience, students are now allowed to bring their own laptops or iPads to the SAT test centres.
The transition to the digital SAT exam 2024 is a global initiative, with international students outside the United States being the first to experience this format in March 2023. On the other hand, US-based students will have the opportunity to take the SAT Digital Exam starting in 2024. This change aims to ensure that all students, regardless of their location, can benefit from a more modern and efficient testing experience.
SAT Digital exam pattern
The SAT Digital exam consists of two main sections: the reading and writing section and the mathematics section. Each SAT 2024 section is scored on a scale of 400 to 800 marks, with a potential total score of 1600 marks.
Importantly, SAT scores are calculated and reported based on individual section scores, providing a detailed breakdown of a student's performance in each area. This comprehensive scoring in the SAT system allows both students and colleges to gain valuable insights into a test-taker's academic strengths and weaknesses.

The old man was overjoyed when he heard of the invitation. He became nearly incoherent with joy. He was torn between the attraction of the offer and shyness. For the first time, Srinivas observed that the man could be moved by shyness. "No, no, I never eat anywhere. Oh, don't trouble yourself about it... No, no ..." he said but all the same, got up and followed Srinivas into the kitchen. He grinned affably at Srinivas's wife and commented flatteringly: "I have always told a lot of people to come and observe this lady for a model. How well she looks after the house. I wish modern girls were all like her." Srinivas gently propelled him to a plank, on which he sat down. He observed from his wife's face that she was pleased with the compliment, and Srinivas felt that old man's coffee was now assured. His wife came out with a tumbler of water and two leaves and set them in front of them. She then served a couple of cakes on each leaf, and the old man rubbed his hands with the joy of anticipation.
At a signal from Srinivas, he fell to; and Srinivas wondered how long it was since the other had had any. "What do you eat at night?" he asked testingly. The old man tore off a piece of cake and stuffed it in his mouth and swallowed it before he answered, shaking his head: 'I'm not a youth. Time was when I used to take three meals a day - three full meals a day in addition to tiffin twice a day. Do you know
