For doing Mass communication, you first have to go for a three year bachelor's course is BJMC (Bachelor of journalism and mass communication) after that if you want to go for teaching you can do master's and PhD in the subject, and if you want to go for reporting and all you have to do a Diploma of one year then you can go for working in channels.

The minimum cut off score varies from colleges to colleges. Some colleges take minimum scores and some colleges take high ones. But in average you should atleast score 320 or more in GRE to be in the safe zone, and 161 or more in the quantitative section. Average score in TOEFL should be 90 or more, but some colleges demand lower or higher scores. Along with marks scored, your GPA, Work experience and other achievements add up the chances too.

Every program offered by any university abroad has some requirements that a student needs to fulfill in order to get admitted.
Any university you apply to, outside India have their entrance exams which are conducted in the university itself. Some of the universities do not conduct any entrance exams but they certainly see your results in the competitive exams that are necessary for you to study the subject.
There are competitive exams like TOEFL and IELTS that are necessary to give if you want to srudy abroad. Your score in the exam decides if you are eligible to get admitted or not.
• TOEFL - TOEFL is a competitive exam held to check an individual's command over the language english or their english language abilities.
The exam is conducted for the students who wish to study in foreign universities. The score of the test is accepted in colleges, in over 100 countries.
The score is valid for two years. One can give the test in any year and get enrolled in the same year or the next year. The fees to take the test in our country is somewhere around Rs 11,500/-.
Once you get your score after the results, you can check any university you want to apply to and submit your scores.
• IELTS - IELTS ( International English Language Testing System ) is another test taken to judge an individual's language competence. English is the main subject under ananlysis since it is the mode of communication in over 120 countries now. The test is important to take if you want to study in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom. The test is taken in more than 140 countries. It is valid for two years as well. The fee to take the test is around Rs 11,100. The test involves reading, writing and listening skills in English language.
These were the tests important to take if you want to study abroad. There might be some colleges that do not require these days but that can only be known once you check their application requirements. Some colleges would require other tests that would ensure your skills in sound recording, or video recording or both.

Educational Testing Services(ETS) is a non profit US organisation that conducts TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) which can be taken by those for whom English is not the native language but they wish to pursue degrees in foreign universities. The TOEFL 2019 has two basic formats - TOEFL iBT (Internet-based test), and the revised TOEFL Paper- delivered Test. The no. of sections in TOEFL iBT is 4 - Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing and in TOEFL Paper - elivered test is 3 - Reading, Listening and Writing.
There is no such prescribed syllabus for TOEFL, the only way is through extensive practice from various sources including the sample papers by ETS. The test pattern is as follows -
