Importance of SAT & TOEFL.
In comparison to the TOEFL, the SAT points more on the reasoning for yourself and not knowledge, which is why extensively colleges expect both admission tests. While the TOEFL indicates your English status as a non-native orator, the SAT is an entrance exam in the US that infers and/or acknowledges academic scholarships.
Most non-native English orators applying to college in the U.S. will be expected to take the TOEFL and the SAT (or ACT, if you prefer). ... Since the SAT expects advanced English language abilities, it may be cause d to waive the TOEFL provision.
Now how to prepare :
Dear aspiring student,
To take the SAT exam, one must ensure that he or she is familiar with the SAT exam pattern, SAT preparation recommendations, and other pertinent information. The SAT and SAT Subject examinations are designed to determine whether candidates are college-ready and fit in with the rest of the students. A large number of schools and universities in the United States and other nations accept the test.
To begin with SAT Preparation guidelines, the first step is to ensure that your grammar is correct. The grammatical abilities will be tested primarily through multiple-choice questions in which you must choose the correct answer. As a result, applicants should brush up on their English fundamentals.
Read: Without reading, preparation is insufficient. Because exam takers will be required to write an essay, keeping up with current events across the world is the best approach to prepare. This will assist you in making your point during the essay writing process.
Make a few sample essays: Selecting a topic and writing about it will aid in the improvement of one's mental process.
Revise your vocabulary: The fill in the blanks task is comparable to the sentence completion task. As a result, keeping up with the most recent vocabulary recommendations is critical.

Hi, you can sit for Maths exam through NIOS. The eligibility criteria for getting into an engineering college would be 50% aggregate in PCM. For studying abroad you will have to appear for English proficiency test. For colleges in India SAT score is not required as many of the colleges do not consider it. You will have to appear for entrance exams such as state level CET or JEE Mains. Either way once you appear for maths you will be eligible for both in India as well as for abroad. Hope this helps.
