Graduate Record Exam
Career Launcher, TIME these insititutes mainly specialize in CAT and other exams like CLAT, etc. As far as GRE is concerned, you should mainly rely on Official ETS Study Material, crucial books like Word Power Made Easy and couple of CAT Quant Books and GRE Material and Tests by Magoosh. However is affordable, you can also choose Jamboree. I believe unlike CAT, JEE and other competitive exams , GRE is more of a strategy than hardwork, in spite of the paper being easier than CAT, students lack essential skills and tricks to ace the exam.

MAjority of the universities take into account the marks scored in class 12th examinations. however, it is not one of the prominent requirements. Scores of entrance exams like GRe, TOEFL/IELTS, etc along with GPA in UG degree matters the most. To know more about what all is required to pursue MS in US along with career opportunities, refer to this link- https://leverageedu.com/blog/ms-in-us/
Hello student,
If you are talking about GRE and IELETS, then i guess you are talking about pursuing masters abroad.Writing GRE is compulsory and you will have to either write TOEFL or IELETS which are english examinations and you need to qualify them with a good score to get a good university abroad.
A gre score greater than 305 and IELETS - 8 or TOEFL - marks greater than 95 will definitely give you a good college if your statement of purpose (SOP ) and letters of recommendation are really good.
The job opportunities for CSE students abroad are also really good and they are paid really well.So prepare well for the exam and all the best
GRE is just a small part of your profile .US universities look at your over all profile.
But yes many universities have minimum GRE score required to get an admit. Many universes mention that they consider a GRE score 300 ( I.e., they would consider a minimum of 158 or 160 in quant ) but they will never accept people with a GRE score less than 310 or say 315.
The only to know if you can get an admit in a university is by looking at previous year admits and comparing them with your profile
Join the MS in US stupidsid group on Facebook and look at the last year admits and try getting in touch with them.
All The Best.

Hello,
The GRE General Test is one of the world’s largest assessment programs for graduate admissions and the exam is conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS).
There are two types of GRE tests, GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test.
Students seeking admission to MS courses in different fields in the US and various other countries appear for GRE General Test.
Through this test, a candidate is evaluated on his analytical writing, quantitative ability, and verbal reasoning skills.
The GRE Subject Test evaluates the candidates’ ability on a particular subject like mathematics , English literature , Physics etc.
Generally, this test is required for getting admission to specialized courses.
There is no eligibility criteria for this The graduate record examination (GRE) is a standardized exam used to measure one's aptitude for abstract thinking in the areas of analytical writing, mathematics, and vocabulary.
The GRE is commonly used by many graduate schools in the U.S. and Canada to determine an applicant's eligibility for the program
I suggest you devote between 4 and 12 weeks to GRE preparation to score good.
Take mock tests , practice model papers , etc.
Vocab is still an important part of the GRE Verbal sections. You can absorb many of the words that will show up on the GRE by reading respected publications such as academic journals etc.
Best regards!!
Hello Vishwanath!!
Many Many Congratulations for your achievement, you have Really performed very well in both the Exams of GRE and EPT.
As of cut-off in GRE, for getting admitted in Harvard University the Candidate should have scored 155-160 Marks in Verbal Test and 165-170 Marks in QAT, overall near about 325+ marks and with this you are surely eligible for the admission.
As English Proficiency Test also they ask for 7 as score and you have qualified that also, you have to now apply for the College through filling the application forms and sending the required documents like:
1.) Identification Card
2.) GRE Test Report Card
3.) Parents' Consent Form Regarding Admission
Other things are also there and as you said, you are not financially strong so I want to tell you that, Harvard University already had a provision for the scholarships for international students.
If your family annual income is less than $10000, then they will provide you the full-waiver scholarship in which no fees you have to paid but if it is there, then parents' have to pay 0 to 10% of the fees from the income.
I am providing you the link which will provide you all the information regarding the details of admission and scholarship:
