Hello,
Yes, You should give SAT exam in Class 12th. It will be beneficial to give it by August month when you are in Class 12th. SAT Scores are used for admission into Undergraduate courses of Foreign Colleges.
Most of the Foreign Colleges start their application process in Mid August or September. So, try to give SAT on or before August mid as the SAT results are published in fifteen days and Early Admission Results of College comes by December end.

Hi Hemanth
Yes, you can prepare for the ACT and SAT in one month. However, you will have to be very dedicated to the study process. I recommend that you take a practice test first to get a baseline score. I recommend using a study guide that has several tests that you can use. This guide will also analyze your scores based on the type of questions that you get wrong the most.
Then go through those questions and figure out which questions you got wrong the most. This would be where I would start studying.
Quickly familiarize yourself with the ACT and it unique attributes. This will help you in timing yourself so that you answer all of the questions. You will want to answer all of the questions even if you are guessing because guessing is not penalized but not answering is always wrong.
The week before the test take 1 more practice test and study the weakest points there. Don’t study on Friday before the test. Instead do something fun and active like. But make sure you are in bed early and you have packed all the essentials for the test.
The morning of the test, eat a healthy breakfast, dress in layers (in case it is cold/warm) bring your essentials and relax.
All the best !!
Hope it helps :)
Asif, The cutoff for NTSE Tamil Nadu stage 1 will be released in combination with the stage 1 Results and, honestly, it is very difficult to predict the actual cutoff for this year, however, we can make use of the previous year trends to understand your chances. Now, for OBC Category, the previous years (2019) cutoff score for Stage 1 was 146 and the cutoff is expected to be quite similar this year too with probably some small shifts in the upward or downward direction, so, from the previous year trends, it may be quite difficult for you to qualify for stage II, however, you should wait for the official cutoff too as the previous year cutoff may not be repeated this time around. Also, as already discussed that the cutoff is released with the results or soon after it and so you should keep checking the official website dge.tn.gov.in for the same.
Hi Mohammad,
As per the last year OBC cutoff which was 146 you haven't cleared the stage I cutoff and thus not qualified for further process.

Hi
There is no particular is decided for SAT it is dependent on the candidate who is willing to give exam. Many students after 10th that is in class 11th give the exam and if they are not selected then they have another chance to give the exam. Time to write the SAT paper to Indians is the December attempt which they can give in class 12th.
For more information related to SAT exam you can go to the link given below.

Hey there!
Depending upon the college you wish to pursue your grad from. Each college has a different set of conditions and eligibility requirements. However, I have enlisted the common ones below:
1. Statement of Purpose
2. At least 2 recommendation letters
3. SAT scores
4. IELTS/TOEFL scores
5. High School and Senior Secondary mark sheets
6. Your detailed CV enlisting your curricular and co-curricular activities
Hope this helps.
Hi Hemanth!! Hope you are doing well!! To prepare for SAT, you should start reading nonfiction books or passages as there will be three or four reading passages on which you will have to answer some questions. You should start studying mental maths also as they are a very scoring part in this test. Apart from it, you have to strengthen your English grammar as half of the verbal section is based on grammar and you have to be very focussed on that as I would be quite difficult to score. So study these areas carefully and prepare for SATs.
All the best .
