The University of Kent is a public research university located in Kent, England. The University of Kent is a semi-collegiate institution founded in 1965. Six colleges make up the university. The former name of the university was the University of Kent at Canterbury, and the motto of the university is "To serve is to reign." The University of Kent QS ranking 2023 is 375. How to apply for Kent University Admission?
University of Kent admissions can be made through UCAS for undergraduate programs, while applications for postgraduate programmes can be made through the university's online application portal.
Visit the UCAS website - ucas.com.
Search the university name, and the list of courses will appear on the screen. Click on the course name.
Carefully read the details mentioned about the course, including the entry requirements, fees, and other details.
Click on the "Apply" button.
Now, register on the UCAS portal by providing the necessary details.

University application fees
Students who want to apply for the University of Kent, they must submit their applications via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). For entry in 2023, the application fee is £22.50 for a single option and £27 for multiple choices. The application fee for admission in 2024 is £27.50 for up to five choices. There are no charges for single selection.
Undergraduate applicants
Full-time courses - If the applicants are from the UK or Ireland, they have to apply through UCAS. The students can check the eligibility criteria on the website.
Special courses - If the students are applying for a subject-specific foundation programme, they have to apply in the same way as for a three-year undergraduate degree.

As an EU, other EEA, or Swiss national with settled status, students are eligible for home fee status, a tuition fee loan, and maintenance assistance to study in the United Kingdom, provided they meet the standard residency requirements.
Students who commence their studies in 2023/24 are required to pay a unique EU fee. The standard EU charge will be £13,500, whereas the EU fee for laboratory programmes will be £16,400, with minor variations depending on the course.

Note: Apart from scholarships, the University of Kent also offers American and Canadian loans to the students to help them pay for their post-secondary education.
Kent also offers academic merit-based scholarships. The Kent Scholarship for Academic Excellence 2023 provides a £2,000 award for the first year of study (stage 1). However, students must meet a few requirements to qualify for the scholarship.
There is no required application form. If the student is qualified for the scholarship, confirmation will be sent to their KentVision portal in September 2023.

Postgraduate Loans for Doctoral Study
For the academic year 2023-2024, eligible students may borrow up to £28,673 in loans. The financing will be available for PhD/DPhil, EdD, EngD, and integrated doctoral programmes, among others. The loans are ineligible for programmes where students reside outside the UK for more than 50% of their degree. In addition, distance learners who are not English residents at the beginning of their programme and for the remainder are not eligible for postgraduate loans.
Eligibility Criteria:
UK and EU citizens who have resided in England for at least three years prior to enrolling in a doctoral programme.
Students must be under 60 years old to register for the programme.
The preceding greatest degree must be lower than doctoral level.
Applicants are abiding by the terms of their prior student loans.
Students who are not receiving Research Council funding, a Social Work bursary, or an NHS bursary are eligible for these awards.

Over 800,000 people visit the Templeman Library annually, which is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week during the academic year. The Drill Hall Library is situated in North Road, Chatham, Kent, England, and is a part of the Universities at Medway, a trilateral collaboration of the Universities of Greenwich, Kent, and Canterbury Christ Church University on a single site. The Drill Hall Library is shared by the three universities.
