    Oxford Brookes University was established in 1865 as the Oxford School of Art. In 1992, following the enactment of the Further and Higher Education Act, it became Oxford Brookes University. The university has three main campuses: Headington, Wheatley, and Harcourt Hill. There is also a location in Swindon where adult nurse training is concentrated. Oxford Brookes is a premier modern British university that is renowned for its excellence in instruction, cutting-edge learning strategies, and emphasis on employability.     For entry into Oxford Brookes University, students should follow the general entry requirements or their equivalents. These are the accepted credentials meant to offer applicants a basic idea of the academic standards the university expects:

    • Acceptable passes in 5 subjects (exceptionally 4 subjects) at GCSE or GCE

    • A national certificate or diploma at a good standard.

The other outlets at Headington include The Deli, Clerici Cafe, Taylors Yard, Avo Cafe, The Terrace, Brookes Bar, and Brookes Co-Op.

    Oxford Brookes University facilities include a variety of sports classes throughout all of its campuses, as well as well-equipped gyms. For practice, competition, and occasional rental, they offer top-notch, well-maintained courts, pitches, and indoor areas. The finest climbing wall in Oxfordshire is Brookes Climb, which is located at Brookes Sport Headington. In addition, Brookes Sport Harcourt Hill has a boathouse, a rowing facility, and a 25-meter swimming pool.

    Oxford has excellent public transportation systems, which improve sustainability and reduce traffic jams and pollution. With three campuses in and around Oxford, where Oxford Brookes University is located, they are all easily accessible by public transportation. A direct inter-site bus service is offered every day of the year. Cycling and walking is also an option. The university has more than 2,500 bike racks and offers a bike doctor to assist with reasonably priced maintenance and repairs. Students who want to walk can reach Cowley Road from Headington Campus in only 10 minutes and the city centre in 30 minutes. The southern English city of Oxford enjoys convenient connections to other surrounding regional hubs. Between London and Oxford, trains run every fifteen minutes; the journey takes around an hour.
