USQ Health Economics PhD Scholarship 2017: Applications are currently open for two USQ Health Economics PhD Scholarship 2017 at University of Southern Queensland. The scholarship will allow students puruse research that contribute to the health economics program of the Applied Economics and Policy Analysis research group.

Field of Study: Health Economics with focus on the application of economic theory to problems of non-communicable diseases and the development of innovative policy interventions.
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for USQ Health Economics PhD Scholarship 2017:
not be a PhD degree holder
have a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours or equivalent
Pursuing a full-time on-campus PhD programme at the USQ
not be a sponsored student receiving similar funding from their Government, or other organisations;
not be in receipt of similar funding from the Australian Government.

Value of Fellowship: USQ Health Economics PhD Scholarship 2017carries a stipend (living allowance) of $30 000 per annum. Payments are made on a fortnightly basis over the year.
Aditionally, recepients will have their tuition fees funded for the standard duration of the PhD.
The maximum tenure of an award is three years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the degree will be deducted from the period of tenure.
