Representatives from the University of Waterloo (UW), Canada will be visiting Delhi on 14 April 2015 from 2 pm to 5 pm.  A public research university, the University of Waterloo was established in 1957. The university has over 30,000 undergraduate and around 5000 graduate students. Of the total, 35% of the graduate students are international while 13% among undergraduates are international.

University of Waterloo Courses:

Waterloo has the largest faculty of engineering in Canadaand the Largest actuarial science program in North America. The university has 6 departments. They are:

  • Applied Health Sciences

  • Arts

  • Engineering

  • Environment

  • Mathematics

  • Science

Besides, it also has four affiliated institutions, namely,

  • Conrad Grebel University College

  • Renison University College

  • St. Jerome's University

  • St. Paul's University College

University of Waterloo Scholarships:


University of Waterloo offers many scholarships for international students. Scholarships may range from CAD500 for 1 year to CAD20,000 for over 4 years. Some of the scholarships are:

  • President’s Scholarship of Distinction

  • President’s Scholarship

  • University of Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarships

Besides, scholarships are also provided by individual departments.
