University of Southampton announces MEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics 2015
The University of Southampton invites application for Master in Engineering (MEng) in Aeronautics and Astronautics for the Malaysia campus for the academic year starting in September 2015.
About MEng in Aeronautics and Astronautics at University of Southampton
The four year undergraduate degree programme, which is dedicated to the science and engineering of aircraft, spacecraft and other aerodynamic systems, is aimed at enabling students to become professional aerospace engineers that meet the educational requirements of the Engineering Council (i.e. UK-SPEC).
The first two years of the MEng Aeronautics & Astronautics programme will provide students with a solid foundation for design and operation of air vehicles and spacecraft through a core set of modules. During the 3rd and 4th years, students will get to select from a list of specialized subjects including Aerodynamics, Air Vehicle Systems Design, Computational Engineering Design, Materials and Structures, Engineering Management and Spacecraft Engineering. When they progress to their third year in the UK, students will go on a one-week practical course in Flight Testing at Southampton Airport, where experiments are performed on board a Jetstream flying laboratory aircraft.

Eligibility criteria to apply for MEng at University of Southampton
The candidates must have:
80% overall with 85% in Maths and 85% in Physics awarded by: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), Metro State Boards (Delhi, Maharashtra, Chennai, Kolkata and Karnataka)
English language proficiency score- IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each competence
