New Zealand Agricultural institute to set up training centres in India
In a recent The Taratahi Agricultural Training Institute, New Zealand and the Agricultural Skill Council of India (ASCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up centres for agricultural training in India.
The training will be conducted both in India and New Zealand and a certificate will be offered based on the curriculum of the Taratahi Agricultural Training Institute. One of the basic aim of the MoU is to start a system for training of trainers and organising Master Trainers in specialized segments such as dairy farming.

The MoU was signed was signed in the presence of New Zealand High Commissioner to India, H.E. Mr. Grahame Morton, Chief Executive of Taratahi, Dr Donovan Wearing and CEO of the Agriculture Sector Skills Council of India, Dr Satinder Arya.
The event also included a panel discussion themed ‘Outcome and Outreach focussed Skill Development Programmes in Agriculture: Synergies through International Partnerships among key stakeholders from India and New Zealand in the agricultural space.’
