In order to guide students about the scope and structure of engineering twinning programmes offered by the Manipal International Center for Applied Sciences (ICAS) , Manipal University is organizing seminars in New Delhi and Chandigarh on the 7th and 8th of May, 2016 respectively.Manipal ICAS, which offers a twinning engineering programme, lets students to divide their four years of B.tech equally between India and a foreign University. Therefore, the student spends the first two years of his Engineering at the ICAS campus in Manipal and the next two years at the chosen foreign University. Further, the students will get the final degree from the chosen foreign university.
Manipal University has around 90 Partner & non-partner Universities across USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Germany and France. The university offers the ICAS twinning programme in collaboration with these universities.
“The best part about ICAS is the cost. You can do 2 years in India and 2 years abroad, so its value for money. I have got 3.0 GPA and have been accepted in University of Nottingham, UK. I totally recommend ICAS to other students,” says Tanishtha, who is enrolled in the Manipal University ICAS programme.
According to the University, the objective of the ICAS seminars in Delhi and Chandigarh is to provide a live platform to students and parents to understand the unique benefits of ICAS program and how to prepare best to maximize the opportunity.
Aspirants attending the seminars will get an opportunity to block there preferred branch of choice. Additionally, Manipal representatives will give them customized inputs to plan the ‘twinning’ International Engineering degree.
