Loughborough University announces admission for MSc Automotive Systems Engineering
The Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering of Loughborough University,UK invites applications for MSc in Automotive Systems Engineering for the academic year 2015-16. Developed in partnership with the companies such as Ford Motor Company and Jaguar Land Rover, the programme is aimed at existing or prospective product development engineers and those working in manufacturing, particularly alongside product design personnel in the context of cross-functional teams and simultaneous working practice.
MSc in Automotive Systems Engineering is a one-year full time programme accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. The programme has been devised for students interested in the automotive industry with knowledge and technical expertise in a wide range of automotive disciplines. The curriculum consists of three compulsory core modules on:
Vehicle and Powertrain Functional Performance
Vehicle Systems Analysis
Manufacturing Systems and Integrated Design
Students can additionally choose three modules from a choice of five. The full-time programme also involves a university-based project for the students to work on.
The course commences on 28 September 2015 and the course fee is Â£17,950.

In exceptional circumstances, lower academic standards may be compensated by experience in the automotive industry. Scholarships at Loughborough University
