Korean Government Scholarship Program 2016 - Applications open
Applications are open for the Korean Government Scholarship Program 2016 to pursue Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degrees from a Korean University or Institution designated by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), South Korea. Interested candidates from India can apply online through the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Under this scholarship program, a total of sixteen nominations will be sent to the Korean Government, out of which, eight candidates will be selected.

International Relations (Including Korean Studies)
Eligibility: To apply for Korean Government Scholarship Program 2016, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Applicant must be under 40 years of age as of 1st September, 2016 (born after 1st September, 1976)
For applying Master Degree and Doctoral degree, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of 31st August, 2016.
Candidates who have already received Korean scholarship at any time will not be eligible.

900,000 won (KRW) per month

Note: All admission fees are waived by the host institution (University). The tuition is paid by NIIED.
Dissertation Printing Cost
500,000- 800,000 won, depending on the actual cost
200,000 won per month (Limited Coverage)
Special Funding for Scholar (Proficient in Korean Language (Level 5 or 6)
100,000 won per month (Commencing from the degree program)
