SynopsisThe Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) provides scholarships for the students from developing countries to study graduate programmes in selected universities.
The scholarship is offered to the students from developing countries going for graduate programmes that lead to a Master’s courses. Click here to get the list of eligible university masters programmes for the scholarship.
How to apply?
Before starting the application form, the candidate must apply to one of the eligible courses in the selected universities. Click here to start the online application. The candidate needs to set up an account to start the online application. The candidate must submit up to two letters of recommendation along with the completed application form before the given deadline.
Level of study:
The candidate must be a citizen of the World Bank member country which is eligible to borrow
The candidate must not have dual citizenship in two developing countries
The candidate must not be an employee at World Bank
The candidate must be holding a Bachelor’s degree obtained before 2012
The candidate must have at least three years of experience in development related field
The candidate must be holding an unconditional offer letter (except for finance) from the eligible university for the selected course
The candidate must be in good health

Value of the award:
The scholarship covers the travel expenses between the home country and the destination country, full tuition fee, medical insurance and allowance that include the basic expenses and the expenses of books.
