The annual India Conference at Harvard 2015, which brings together notable speakers to discuss on topics relevant to India, has been scheduled for March 7th and 8th. The conference put together by the Graduate students of Harvard and is hosted at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.
This year the speakers which include prominent personalities like Prithviraj Chavan, Rahul Bose, Kiran Bedi, Sajjan Jindal among others; will revolve around the topic “India’s path to Global leadership”. The conference aim is to foster targeted dialogue and academic critique on India’s future.
The conference also aims to throw light on other topics surrounding India such as its potential to take over China as a manufacturing hub, its fast growing e-Commerce industry, the country’s ability to reinvent healthcare practices in line with global standards. The speakers are also expected to discuss about India’s sustainability move towards 100 smart cities, the emerging entrepreneurship culture, the role of women in business, the impact of changing media landscape on politics and policies and India’s relationship with its neighboring countries.
The India Conference at Harvard is at its twelfth year and is expected to draw hundreds of speakers as well as attendees. It is one of the largest conferences focusing around India.
The students who register for the event will get a chance to network with dignitaries and peers during networking lunches, cocktail receptions, panel discussions and one on one Q&A -sessions.
