ETS, the GRE conducting body has released new GRE 2013 notification. The notification says that the exam conducting body has decided to give the provision of retaking the GRE® revised General Test in every 21 days. The new system will be in effect from July 1, 2013. Further, the candidates can also take the test for five times in a rolling of 12 months.

Earlier, the candidates could take the GRE test once in 30 days. Graduate Research Examination (GRE) is the standardized test that provides admissions to the candidates in various business schools in the United States and other English speaking countries in the world. The GRE 2013 notification with the new change is expected to provide the test takers more opportunities to improve their score in repeated attempts.

Recently, the GRE has been undergoing various changes. In August 2011, GRE revised General Test was introduced with new question models that assess the most required skills of the students.

GRE test comprises of three sections- verbal section, quantitative section and Analytical Writing Assessment. The test assesses the analytical writing skills, critical thinking and verbal and quantitative reasoning of the candidates.
