Ghent University, Belgium announces Master Grants to candidates from developing countries who wish to study a master’s degree program (with availability of 19 master’s degree program) with a maximum duration of 2 years. Scholarship consists of an allowance of 1000 euro per month.

  • Master of Science in Statistical Data Analysis
  • Master of Science in Photonics Science and Engineering
  • Master of Science in Textile Engineering
  • Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering
  • Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering
  • Master of Science in Technology for Integrated Water Management

Note: * Only Residents from Angola, Myanmar, Niger, Pakistan, Algeria, China and Namibië can apply for a Master Grant for an ICP program. If your country is not on this list, we suggest you to check the ICP scholarship of VLIR-UOS. Exception: ICP-students already in their first master and resident of the VLIR-UOS country list do can apply for the master grant.

Allowance: €1000 per month (Airline ticket and visa costs are not included in the grant)

Eligibility:

  • Must be from developing countries
  • Candidates must have bachelor’s degree and proficient in English language
  • Candidates who already received a Master Grant in the past, are not eligible
