Eastern Institute of Technology launches Masters programs in India
New Zealand Government funded Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), is launching a range of Post Graduate Diploma and Masters Degree programs in India aiming to increase the rate of employability of students by increasing their applied knowledge and skills.
The new degrees are available in Applied Management and Information Technology.
The key highlights of the programme are as follows:
- There are eight areas of professional competence in the programme
- The programme allows a student to complete the first year and gain a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Management
- The programme focuses on both in-depth theoretical knowledge of the IT environment and professional practice.
- The Master of Information Technology is also a one and half-year programme designed to produce IT graduates who are able to think critically and have a number of high level skills in the IT field. The programme focusses on both in-depth theoretical knowledge of the IT environment and professional practice in which the knowledge and understanding are applied.
EIT has campuses in Napier, Auckland and Tairawhiti, and an established office in Bangalore, India since 2010. India is becoming EIT’s fastest growing source of international students.
