Applications are open for the Cornell University Tata Scholarship 2016 for Indian students pursuing undergraduate studies at Cornell University.20 scholars will be provided need-based financial assistance from the $25 millionendowment fund established by the Tata Education and Development Trust. Mr. Ratan Tata is the Cornell trustee.

Field of Study: To be eligible for the scholarship,Candidates can choose any field of study but preference will be given to the candidates who are accepted by the following colleges at Cornell University-
College of Architecture, Art, and Planning
The College of Engineering;
The Applied Economics and Management major in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Majors across colleges in the biological sciences, physical sciences, and other “hard” sciences, as well as the social sciences.
Candidates should be a citizen of India and have attended secondary school in India
Candidates should be offered admission to Cornell as an undergraduate student
Candidates should be eligible for need-based financial aid

Value of Scholarship: Entire undergraduate study cost with an exception of five year programme in architecture. Architecture undergraduate study requires 10 semesters of full time enrollment and scholarship will be provided up to eight semesters only.
