Canada holds marketing strategy competition
The High Commission of Canada in India, in partnership with the Rotman School of Management, Canada held the final round of the Canada Marketing Strategy Competition 2014 on September 19 in New Delhi.
The competition with the theme, “Positioning Canada as a destination of choice for higher education and research among Indian undergraduate students,” saw 13 teams from leading institutes of India compete for a special 10-day study trip to Canada conducted by the prestigious Rotman School of Management in Toronto
The highly informative presentations involved students as well as working professionals who discussed a broad range of approaches including surveys, video testimonials and statistical analyses among others.
While most participants in the competition stressed on the need for Canada to enhance its marketing possibilities many were of the view that Canada’s unique USPs like dual language, low tuition fee and a large community of Indians helps it maintain a healthy flow of students ever year.
Some participants suggested making the Canada’s education promotion more interactive by holding education fests and introducing education Canadian education ambassadors at colleges.
In addition to the study trip, cash prizes of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000 will be offered to the second and third positions, respectively.
