Cambridge English South Asia Partnership Summit slated to take place on 23 & 24 February 2016 in New Delhi
Cambridge English South Asia Partnership Summit –Cambridge English Language Assessment and Cambridge University Press have joined hands with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to hold the first ever ‘FICCI - Cambridge English South Asia Partnership Summit’ on 23rd and 24th February, 2016 in New Delhi. The event seeks to find solutions to one of the most pressing issues faced by young people in South Asia: How to acquire the skill sets that are and will be most in demand in the 21st century.
The invitation-only event, which includes a panel of experts, will provide a platform to discuss debate and propose practical solutions on four key themes: Teacher Development, Digital Learning, Employability and Research & Innovation.
The keynote address of the event will be delivered by Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Vice Chancellor, University of Cambridge. India will be represented at the event by TV Somanathan, Joint Secretary, Government of India, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
Other important dignitaries expected at the event include Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education and Chairman FICCI Skill Development Forum, Professor Gunapala Nanayakkara, Director General, National Institute of Education, Sri Lanka, Dr Nick Saville, Director Research and Thought Leadership, Cambridge English Language Assessment, Ms Angela ffrench, Director of Operations - South Asia.
