Applications are open for Abdul Kalam Postgraduate Fellowship 2016 at University of South Florida. University of South Florida has announced this fellowship in the honor of Dr. Abdul Kalam who was a great leader and a passionate supporter of energy independence. One fellowship will be awarded every year from 2016-2017 academic year.

Eligibility for Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Postgraduate Fellowship 2016: Candidates must be admissible in the PhD programme at University of South Florida and must be a citizen of India to be eligible for the scholarship. Fellowship will be awarded to an Indian student with exceptional academic performance, credential and passion for the STEM fields of study.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply for the graduate programme and to be registered at the USF graduate admission portal. After completing the applications applicants need to scan all the documents mentioned below along with the completed PG Fellowship form and email it to USF-
Statement of Purpose with a brief description of academic success and area of intended study
Statement of research and evidence of scholarly activity
Three letters of recommendation on academic and/or professional letterhead

Type of awards: Fellowship
Value of Fellowship: Fellowship will be available for a period of four years to waive the entire tuition fee of the course. Student will receive $18,000 over the nine months of the fall and spring semesters for up to four years. Student will be responsible to pay all other costs.
