GMAT Score 2017 - The official and unofficial GMAT Scores are published by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). While the unofficial GMAT score is available to be accepted or rejected right at the end of the GMAT exam, the official GMAT 2017 results are available within 20 calendar days from the exam date. GMAT evaluates candidates on four yardsticks. They are: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. A GMAT exam taker receives his/her GMAT score 2017 on the basis of the GMAT scoring process of these four sections. The GMAT exam score range for all the four sections is 200–800. As per the GMAT 2017 score, only Verbal and Quantitative GMAT score impact the total score of 200–800. For the Analytical writing section, test takers are scaled on a 0–6 range as per the GMAT score 2017. Integrated reasoning is scaled on a range of 1–8. The Analytical Writing and Integrated Reasoning sections do not impact the total score of GMAT 2017, which is based only on the Verbal and Quantitative sections. How do you get your GMAT 2017 Score?

  • GMAT 2017 exam scores can be checked online

  • The official GMAT score is available within 20 days from your GMAT exam. Test takers will receive an email with a link to access your official GMAT 2017 results.

  • A GMAT 2017 score card shows scores for each section. In cases of repeat test takers, the score report will show all of the test taker's GMAT score 2017 for the last five years.

GMAT score 2017 reports include all exam results achieved in the past five years, the most recent AWA essay responses, and the background information country of citizenship, gender, date of birth, telephone number, undergraduate institution, grade point average, major, date of graduation, intended graduate study and highest level of education attained.

As mentioned above, the total score of GMAT 2017 ranges from 200 to 800 which takes into account only Quantitative and Verbal sections. As per GMAT score 2017, the GMAT Scoring Process scores Analytical Writing Assessment and Integrated Reasoning separately and not for the total GMAT score 2017.


GMAT 2017 Scores for the four GMAT Sections:

GMAT Analytical Writing Assessment Score: The Analytical Writing Assessment score is an average of the two independent ratings for the Analysis of an Argument essay. These average scores can range from 0 to 6. Test takers can even get half point intervals (0.5) in their Analytical Writing GMAT score 2017. For example, it is possible to get score in 0.5 formats (3.5 or 4.5 out of 6). Analytical Writing Assessment scores are computed separately from the scores for the other sections of the test and have no effect on the Verbal, Quantitative or Total scores.


GMAT Integrated Reasoning Score: Integrated Reasoning scores range from 1-8 in single-digit intervals. Like the Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning scores are computed separately and have no effect on the total score of GMAT 2017.


GMAT Verbal and Quantitative Scores: According to the GMAT scoring process 2017, the Verbal and Quantitative GMAT scores range from 0 to 60 in single-digit intervals. The Verbal and Quantitative scores measure different constructs and are not comparable to each other.

The Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) is a management entrance test used in the selection procedure of more than 2000 business schools offering 6000 programmes in more than 100 countries. It is conducted by the GMAC.  Business schools use this test as a criterion for admission into a wide range of management programs like MBA, Master of Accountancy and Master of Finance programs. There are no specific exam dates for GMAT 2017. You can register a re-test of GMAT 2017 after 16 days from your last test. However, students cannot take GMAT more than 5 times in a 12-month period.
