Top Private Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh offer admission to Non- Resident Indians(NRI), Foreign Nationals(FN), People of Indian Origin (PIO) as well as Children of Indians Working in Gulf (CIWG). Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering come a close third and fourth place with 297 and 270 seats.
All India Council for Technical Education (ACTE) approved institutions have the permission to admit NRI candidates to up to 15% of the sanctioned seats. An additional 15% seats of the sanctioned seats are also available for the PIO/FN and CIWG category. The candidate should have passed the qualifying exam with at least 50% marks in required subjects or at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination or a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) equivalent to at least 5 on a scale of 10.
