The annual tuition fee in the US, UK and other private institutions in India is relatively extremely high. Whereas an average year at a US university would range around minimum USD 60,000 an annual tuition fee at Technion is only USD 15,000. Excellent outstanding students with a proven track record will be eligible for scholarships for their first year and may avail a merit-based scholarship after successfully completing their first year.

I have completed 3 years in Israel, studying my Doctoral studies in Technion. There are around 100 Indian students with a majority of them pursuing their postdoc although the number of PhD students is increasing each year. We celebrate Holi and Diwali here in Technion where many local students also participate. Technion arranges the trip around the country for the International students every month. I visit home once-twice a year depending on the duration of stay.
